Quest, a light-colored male yellow Labrador, is to Lynn’s left, and she holds his harness with her left hand. Lynn is wearing an unbuttoned dark blue jean jacket with a burgundy top underneath, a black over-the-knee knit skirt, and black sneakers. A fine chain necklace is visible against her shirt. In the background, behind Lynn, there are street signs to the right and large trees on each side of the sidewalk.

Meet Lynn Jensen

Certified Vision Rehabilitation Therapist

In Focus Vision Rehabilitation was founded by Lynn Jensen, BSN, RN, CVRT. Lynn has more than 24 years’ experience helping people with low vision or blindness learn the skills they need to thrive.

Lynn knows what you’re going through, because she has been through it too. Shortly after earning her nursing degree, Lynn lost all of her sight. She discovered that tasks she used to do without thinking, like putting toothpaste on her toothbrush, were suddenly messy and complicated.

Lynn decided to dedicate herself to supporting others in the vision loss community. She trained to become a Certified Vision Rehabilitation Therapist and offered a variety of training and support through Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada (VLRC), formerly known as Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB), in Vancouver, Canada.

Now, Lynn operates independently and shares her skills and insights with clients through online workshops and both online and in-person training for individuals and groups.
